3.Accounts

Account Creation

  • ●One account per person

Account Security

  • ●We are not liable for losses from compromised accounts

4.User Types

Learners

  • ●Free tier: Access to starter courses and previews
  • ●Paid courses: Individual course purchases
  • ●Subscription: Monthly/annual access to premium features

Instructors

  • ●Must provide valid identification
  • ●Must own rights to course content
  • ●Must maintain quality standards
  • ●Subject to review before publication

5.Content

Instructor Content

  • ●Instructors retain ownership of their course content
  • ●Instructors grant ByondEdu license to host and distribute
  • ●Instructors are responsible for accuracy and legality
  • ●Instructors must not infringe on third-party rights

Prohibited Content

  • ●Illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • ●Copyrighted material without permission
  • ●Misleading health/medical claims
  • ●Spam or deceptive content

AI-Generated Content

  • ●Courses may use AI avatars (with consent)
  • ●Instructors must disclose AI usage
  • ●ByondEdu may use AI for recommendations and support

6.Payments

Course Pricing

  • ●Instructors set their own prices
  • ●ByondEdu takes a 20% platform fee
  • ●Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated

Payment Processing

  • ●Payments processed via Stripe/Square
  • ●Instructors paid monthly (net 30)
  • ●Minimum payout: $50

Refunds

  • ●14-day money-back guarantee on all courses
  • ●Refunds processed within 5–10 business days
  • ●Abuse of refund policy may result in account suspension

7.Intellectual Property

ByondEdu IP

  • ●ByondEdu name, logo, and branding are our property
  • ●You may not use without written permission

User IP

  • ●You retain rights to content you create
  • ●You grant us license to display and distribute your content on the Platform

8.AI Avatar Usage

Consent

  • ●Instructors must consent to AI avatar creation
  • ●Consent covers course production and marketing
  • ●Consent can be revoked (courses removed within 90 days)

Ownership

  • ●Instructor owns their likeness
  • ●ByondEdu owns the production (avatar videos, editing, branding)
  • ●Joint ownership of published courses

9.Community Features

Forums and Discussions

  • ●Be respectful and professional
  • ●No harassment, spam, or self-promotion
  • ●We may remove content that violates guidelines

User Conduct

  • ●Treat others with respect
  • ●Do not share personal information of others
  • ●Report violations to support

10.Disclaimers

Educational Purpose

  • ●Courses are for educational purposes only
  • ●Not a substitute for professional licensing
  • ●Results may vary

No Warranty

  • ●Platform provided "as is"
  • ●We do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • ●We are not liable for course content accuracy
